We are recruiting a Senior Market Risk Analyst to join a prestigious international financial institution based in Porto.

This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with experience in Market Risk who are looking to further develop their careers in a dynamic and international environment, with exposure to various asset classes and complex financial products.

Key Responsibilities
• Produce, analyse and report quantitative risk indicators, including VaR, Stress Tests, Sensitivities and other regulatory metrics;
• Monitor and certify market risk metrics, ensuring the quality and reliability of reported information;
• Analyse daily risk and P&L movements, identifying and explaining significant variations;
• Monitor risk limit consumption and contribute to the management of alerts and exceptions;
• Produce regular reports for management teams and risk committees;
• Collaborate with international teams and business units to ensure consistency and alignment of reported information;
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including process automation and control optimisation.

Candidate Profile
• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field;
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in Market Risk roles;
• Solid knowledge of financial products and derivatives;
• Experience with one or more asset classes, namely Fixed Income, Equities, FX or Credit;
• Strong command of SQL, Python and Excel/VBA;
• Fluency in English;
• Good command of French (minimum B1/B2 level);
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and problem-solving mindset;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities in a demanding environment.
